Ned Fiss has over 30 years of experience in environmental consulting. Ned specializes in industrial waste management and municipal wastewater treatment projects. His expertise includes process engineering, detailed design, permitting, and construction management of water, wastewater, hazardous waste and solid waste facilities. Mr. Fiss has conducted evaluations of treatment processes and designed water and wastewater treatment systems for many industrial and municipal facilities. Ned also taught Environmental Engineering in the Department of Engineering Technology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Dr. Matt Fiss has considerable training and knowledge in the operation and control of wastewater and water treatment processes. He was responsible for performing a number of wastewater evaluations and treatment design for municipal and industrial clients. He developed projection models and predictive tool for optimal process control and wastewater management for food and beverage industries. Matt frequently gives Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Training Sessions to plant operators.

Mr. Bob Stein has over 40 years in experience in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment applications. He has been involved in all phases of projects related to environmental control, including environmental audits, in-plant controls, design of grass roots facilities, troubleshooting and upgrading existing treatment facilities, nitrification biomonitoring and toxicity reduction, operational assistance, water quality analysis, and permitting and negotiations with regulatory authorities. Industrial experience includes chemicals, food processing, iron and steel, metal finishing, petroleum refining, pulp and paper, printing and textiles. Mr. Stein was appointed by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Management to serve as a member of the Champion Variance Committee (1995-1996). Bob has authored over 50 publications in the environmental field.

Dr. Rob Rebodos utilizes his strong chemistry background in providing technical expertise to all types of water and wastewater, groundwater, and environmental clients. Since joining Fiss Environmental Solutions, Inc. in 2010, Rob has been involved in a number of process engineering and detailed design projects, performed municipal and industrial wastewater treatability studies, and completed bench, pilot and full scale testing. He also co-writes publications and presents technical papers for Fiss in professional conferences.

Mr. Dawson has over 10 years of progressive experience in environmental consulting, client representation and design engineering. Samanth is an engineer trained in biological and physical/chemical systems, for treatment of wastewater, stormwater and contaminated soil & groundwater. He has worked with various industries in conducting treatability tests and detailed cost estimates for treatment plant design/upgrades. He has also completed SWP3, SPCC and FRP Plans as part of the industry’s environmental compliance requirements and assisted in the review of scheduled compliance monitoring events for various clients.
